Son Nadi Ka Udgam - Review
Apart from being the starting point of the great river Narmada, Amarkantak is also home to two other rivers, namely, Son and Johila. The River Son is one of the biggest rivers of India and is as important to the locals as the River Narmada is. At the inception point of the Son River there is a small temple that is called the Son Udgam Temple, and is usually visited by a number of devotees from all over India. The site is also famous as a view point and perfect for clicking jaw-dropping pictures of the scenic terrain.

Son Nadi Ka Udgam, Amarkantak Reviews
Very good. Nice view and calm. Beware of monkeys.. Try not to keep eatables else monkeys will snatch.
It was nice. Free parking place. Just walking distance from parking place. Natural beauty is excellant. A view point is here for observing hills.
Place of origin of Sone River. Situated at 2 km from Narmada temple at the edge of Maikal Range. The Sone River cascades from the mountain in a waterfall. As we stand on the viewing platform facing east, we see a panorama of hills and valleys. Sone gets its name from gold dust which is found in the water of Sone.
A very beautiful place to visit with one's family as well as friends.......... This place Sonmuda is the starting point of river Son...... By seeing it's starting point one would not believe that the river takes such a giant form later on....... Only one caution one should take while visiting the place is to care about the monkeys roaming around.. Beware not to mishandle or tease them.....
Awesome and peaceful place where you can see the beauty of nature at its display. River son originates from here and falls down as waterfall fromm 1000m to 700 m into chattisgarh. You can have awesome view of keonchi village from there
