Son Nadi Ka Udgam - Review

Apart from being the starting point of the great river Narmada, Amarkantak is also home to two other rivers, namely, Son and Johila. The River Son is one of the biggest rivers of India and is as important to the locals as the River Narmada is. At the inception point of the Son River there is a small temple that is called the Son Udgam Temple, and is usually visited by a number of devotees from all over India. The site is also famous as a view point and perfect for clicking jaw-dropping pictures of the scenic terrain.

Son Nadi Ka Udgam, Amarkantak Reviews

  • A very beautiful place to visit with one's family as well as friends.......... This place Sonmuda is the starting point of river Son...... By seeing it's starting point one would not believe that the river takes such a giant form later on....... Only one caution one should take while visiting the place is to care about the monkeys roaming around.. Beware not to mishandle or tease them.....

  • This place is heavenly and known for River Sonbhadra's emergence place. The locals says it's scenic place when water falls down from top to bottom in the jungle. The scenic jungle makes this place heavenly. The sonmuda range is superb when it is sunset time. In my case when I visited it was nearly dark dusk. Hence I couldn't see much except the jungle from a top with hilly slopes. Simply heavenly 😇

  • This place has origin of Son river. Temple of God Hanuman makes it place for monkeys. Wonderful view from the sunset point. There is also a waterfall.

  • A place to must visit by nature lovers. Natural beauty added to astonishing creation of God. This river flows to bay of Bengal. Starting almost from same place other flows to the Arabian sea.

  • Awesome View of Nature Feel like Aasma niche aaj Mai uper😃
