Cafe De Klos - Review

If it is meat that tames your taste buds often, then it will be ideal for you to plan a visit to the Cafe De Klos. Different types of meat-based platters are the main attraction of this restaurant. You would love to enjoy all the bits and pieces of steaks and ribs that this restaurant serves. The authority here serves food in large quantity which always works well for the customers. The environment of this restaurant is cosy and neat. The staffs here are friendly and helpful too. You can come to this place with your loved ones to enjoy great food and a great time.

Cafe De Klos, Amsterdam Reviews

  • Solid value and food decent. I went early (5:30pm) on a Thursday and got lucky with a bar seat since I was only one person. The staff is a bit cranky, but is amusing if you don't take it personally. I got the ribs and baked potato. Ribs were good. Not the best I've even had, but good. Baked potato with garlic butter was good too. Get there early or late or plan on waiting! Lots of tourist in this place.

  • Words are helpless to describe the main and side dishes. That baked potato with butter and garlic sauce on... Amazing! Staff is so friendly and they are doing their best to maximize your satisfaction. My third time here in the last two years. To me, sirloin > t-bone > tenderloin. I will come back tomorrow to try the prime rib. Highly recommended! This is my red light guys!

  • Every time I go to Amsterdam I cannot leave without eating here. The ribs are to die for (hand on heart the best I have ever eaten, anywhere), and the restaurant itself is in a charming ancient building, with old paintings on the wall to match. There are no bookings, but you can wait in the bar across the road and they will call you in when they have room. Would recommend showing up an hour before you plan to eat (my average waiting time), and then you can enjoy the beers beforehand without feeling too hungry until your space is ready! Definitely worth the wait.

  • This is one of my absolute favourite restaurant in Amsterdam! It may be my third time visiting here for the best ribs I’ve had anywhere in the world. The service is great the man on the door is hilarious and treat everyone very nicely. I got the mixed ribs because my eyes as usual will begin in my belly! However I’m still glad I got to try Both of the ribs on offer as they were both delicious, so soft and just peeled straight off of the bone! You must try out this restaurant if you’re in the area

  • This place was AMAZING. It was our first stop in Amsterdam for food, and it really set the bar: great atmosphere, friendly staff, and friendly patrons. We had such a nice time at dinner, chatting with the waiters/bartenders and the people around us (we ended up making friends and going out to another bar with some of the people that had been sitting by us at the bar). These might be the friendliest people in Amsterdam!! As far as food and atmosphere, it’s a no frills kind of place with a cozy neighborhood vibe; they clearly pride themselves on their ribs - and man, are they good! We had the spare ribs and the sirloin, and enjoyed both entirely. Serving sizes are large and we still cleaned our plates. We will be back when in Amsterdam!!
