De Carrousel, Amsterdam Reviews - Write a Review

  • This place is pretty much an actual carousel - without the moving aspect. Such a large amount of pancake to choose from, both sweet and savoury. We came for breakfast and ordered savoury options. The pancakes themselves are large in diameter but served thin (crepe style). The staff were efficient and friendly. I found the coffee to be rather pleasant also. It's very close to the tram stop, so easy to eat then go on to see other thing across the city.

  • The waitress was very helpful with my order, I wanted a traditional Dutch pancakes so had strawberry and cream. It was served piping hot with a very good cup of coffee. By far the best breakfast I had in Amsterdam, and as I visit here several times a year, definitely be coming back. Easy to find, just jump on the tram24 to Heineken Marie.

  • More than just a name, this restaurant houses an actual carousel inside! Amazing breakfast spot, great for hangovers after a night of partying. They have famous Dutch style pancakes which are a MUST for anyone who hasn’t tried.

  • Super fast service with really friendly staff! Lovely little eaterie next door to the 'Heineken Experience'. Stop by and enjoy a delicious, warm waffle or pancake!

  • The best poffertjes in town! Hands down. Get the ones with ginger, a dream!
