  • What an amazing zoo this is. There is a indoor area where the monkeys walk around you and the smallest ones are really cute. Outside there are elephants, giraffes, sea lions etc. The lemurs feeding time was really good and the staff are very informative. If you visit Amsterdam then this is a must! It is also very easy to get to.

  • A good range of animals for the location of the zoo. Some of the more modern exhibits were interactive and very enjoyable. All this being said I feel some of the older enclosures are to small for the animals that are being kept in them. In an ideal world there should be less of the larger species like elephants, giraffe and the leopards, seeing as they can not provide adequate enclosures for these animals. Overall the zoo is definitely worth a visit!

  • This has to be a must for any visitor to Amsterdam. I have been to this particular zoo 4 times and I always enjoy it. The zoo has loads of animals a lot of them very interesting. It also is a very well kept zoo and the animals clean and looked after. Another nice thing about this zoo is the huge Aquarium within the zoo itself housed in it's own building. Also some other buildings with different displays. It's a zoo you could spend all day at and never get bored. Please visit this zoo Highly recommend it. Can we reached easily on tram from city centre. Tram stop at entrance to zoo.

  • Lovely zoo! Lots of unexpected extras - planetarium, microbium, aquarium and of course lots of animals. A lovely aspect was that the animals look so happy and like they have plenty of space. The enclosures were clean and large and they were well looked after even though it was January and very cold! A great family day out, a beautiful zoo and well worth a visit.

  • Best Zoo I've ever been too, I wish I had done it over two days as there was so much to see! It is so much closer to the animals than I've ever been. I loved seeing so main different big animals wolf's, elephants, jaguar etc & loved going through the little monkeys house and they got so close!
