This is one of the newest additions to the list of attractions in this city, exciting and interesting. This tasting will happen under an experienced cheese taster as well.

  • Within the one hour, you will become a student of this art of cheese testing and you will learn about six kinds of cheese and also have enough information on the evolvement of cheese over the years.

  • Adult it is EUR 15, but having certain passes will make admission completely free, but reservation for the class is required and advised.

  • We have been on a cheese tasting "course" that is really amazing, we enjoyed it. The presenter is entertaining and professional. Highly recommended program.

  • We had a walking tour of Amsterdam and one of our stops was at this store and we tasted some Gouda. The flavour was wonderful, we ended up going back there. You can taste a selection of their other cheeses, and we bought a piece of Gouda to take home with us. Staff were helpful in choosing what to get, explaining how long each cheese had matured and what kind of flavours you get from them.

  • The cheese class was a lot of fun!

  • Amazing cheese and a great experience

  • First of all the cheese is great. It was my 4th visit to Amsterdam and I always came on my last day to get the XO reserve. It is simply the best cheese I ever ate! But I am really here to thank a staff of Reypenaer (a pity I didn’t get his name!). It was on the noon of 13th Jul 2018 when I was about to leave the shop after completing my purchase that I realised I left my Rimowa lugggage in the train on the way to amsterdam centraal. I quickly realised I was just 2 hrs from my deprting flight home (I had checked in earlier at the airport) so I was clearly crushed knowing I would lose the luggage and all its important contents within. Noticing my anxiety, the kind staff asked me what’s wrong and I explained. He quickly offered to called NS train company for me, and even though it took a long while before it was answered (20 mins!) he never gave up on me and went to explained to NS what happened in dutch (crucial!). Long story short, my luggage was returned to me in Singapore 3 weeks later. It wouldn’t have been possible without that guy and the quick response from the NS search team. Thank you!
