  • OK for most times, not including holiday seasons. Schiphol should have learned after all these years to anticipate them. Waiting queues can grow absurdly long, at which time passengers may be treated as cattle. A pity for now and the future. Passengers will look for alternatives. The facilities are great. Clear signs everywhere, clean toilets, good restaurants, although some of them are absurdly expensive. Connections with trains and buses are excellent. Taxi facilities as well, but the police should do more to clean up taxi mafiosi.

  • Amazing airport! Huge but everything is marked and well explained. Airport staff are very friendly and helpful. The airport is divided into two parts: Lounge 1 and Lounge 2. There are internet zones, library zone, child care zone, playgrounds, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, everything. Although it is so large with so many people it is surprisingly clean.

  • We arrived from Barcelona at 9:20 AM, went to check in, waited for almost an hour, went to security check and waited there for 20+ minutes because the control points stopped checking people. After that we underwent a passport check. It was 12:00 AM, twenty minutes past our flight's scheduled departure and forty past the boarding site closed. Even though the facilities are remarkably good, logistics for travelers in the airport can be severely improved. Moreover, as in other comments exposed, what the airport management should have in mind is the fact the airport gets completely collapsed during certain seasons and hours. Yet, the airport personel was always nice, sincere and gentle to us.

  • Airport itself is cool, but immigration is terrible. Literally 300 travellers waiting for 3 officers. Always the same. Toilets are dirty too

  • Upon arrival it wasn't easy to find the exit with my hand luggage so I headed to baggage section. Bit of a walk but the many shops flanking my path were pleasant. Considering how busy the airport is, it didn't feel busy on either occasion I visited. I was given good directions to my destination in Amsterdam Zuid. Also the ticket staff suggested various travel passes that definitely helped me to save money.
