Another gem for food lovers in the city of Amsterdam, the butcher is home to a wide and vivid menu served right at the heart of the city. The place is apparently new to the food scene, being established in 2012. It is highly popular among folks for its best quality meat (hence the name) and one of its kind idea- a burger joint that is dedicated to serving the best burgers in the city. Come here any time of the day and get ready to be served some of the most delicious food on your trip. A nice glass of beer and giant bite of burger is all you need to enjoy a happy evening in Amsterdam, and The Butcher will show you that!

  • We were given cold fries that had been waiting on the side for many minutes (we had seen them while we walked around). We then nicely tried to ask for a replacement and the staff were incredibly rude, even told us to pay for the fries again if we wanted them warm. The service was a real let down. Would not recommend.

  • Great choice of burgers all around the €10 mark. The meat was cooked just right and just the right amount of sauce. The chips were ok but not out of this world and the accompanying mayonnaise was again just ok. One bag of chips to share is enough.

  • Similar to others. Service is terrible. Waited 45 minutes at the window and was offered fries to compensate. Fries were decent, but I didn’t order fries cause I didn’t want fries.

  • 1 star is too many. Terrible service!!! Waited 30 minutes at the window, 4 guys behind dancing (the live music in the courtyard was very cool), then I ask about my burger and he hands me over admitting it's cold because apparently he had called my number but I wasn't there (of course I was). Then he says "it's not my problem" !!!!! No apology, no offer to cook a new one, no care in the world. Guys, you're NOT COOL. And you let me walk away without food even though I had paid for it.

  • Great food, however very rude, unwelcoming and condescending staff
