The Grasshopper cafe in Amsterdam is a very pleasant and well-presented place. The place has several floors as well as an outside area. It is very famous and sits right next to one of the main streets for bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. The food is renowned in the area and is not too expensive considering the place and the famous name. The Grasshopper Coffee Shop, Amsterdam Reviews - Write a Review
Went here for a family meal, good size portions, you won't leave hungry! Veggie burgers were really nice (double patty too), kids loved the chicken nuggets and chips. Staff were very friendly and attentive, we had a table on the first floor, which was nicely decorated inside.
Could not fault the place, perfect for a casual meal. Ate here 3 nights in a row as the food was great and done the job. One of the best Veggies burgers i have ever tasted, and my friend was also impressed with the size and quality of the chicken burger. Yes the price is a little higher than what you would expect in the UK, but you would probably struggle to find food of the same quality at a cheaper price anywhere in Amsterdam centre.
Great location near the heart of Amsterdam. The quality of the atmosphere and the taste of the food are both excellent. Pick here if you want to be nice to yourself.
Steep prices, good location, friendly staff who spoke English and a cute cat asleep in a chair outside :) It is located near the water, with a large and heated outdoor seating. However, the prices are quite steep. You pay 25 euros or more for what is essentially pub grub. We all ordered the rumpsteak cooked differently, but they were all well done.
This place serves beautiful food and excellent service. Had waited along time to return here, 6 months and it was just as good the second time around! Highly recommended for great food.
