  • We went on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised at how smooth the trip was, from ease of parking to security line to enter. There were plenty of parking spaces. Be prepared to open bags and walk through a metal detector to enter. Parking was free with $20 validation at a single store. The highlights for us were the Lego store and Salt & Straw ice cream. I recommend visiting for a fun weekend trip with the family.

  • A great little shopping district outside the parks proper, Downtown Disney is a neat little touristy spot for all the merchandise offered in the parks in one spot. I found it a handy place to pick out and pick up those souvenirs you'll want. The architecture and displays are unique, so bring your camera. There's also a selection of restaurants if you couldn't find what you wanted in the parks.

  • I mean, of course this is a 5 star review - it’s Disney! Without actually going to the parks, you can still have a great time. The prices are all inflamed, but ya know, it’s Disney so what would you expect. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going again!

  • Downtown Disney is an fun place to find good eats and shopping, especially after or before an Disneyland adventure. Or, just by itself. You definitely want to bring some change, as it's too tempting to come limited. I know they were undergoing renovation, so I can't wait to see the changes soon.

  • If you can't afford the now almost astronomical prices for Disneyland and California Adventure, this will give you at least a small taste and feeling of Disney with stores where you can buy all the Disney paraphernalia and some really nice restaurants where you can eat. Parking is not cheap but if you eat at one of the sit-down restaurants they will give you 5 hour parking for free which is great because you will not need more than 5 hours at Downtown Disney.
