Mount Alyeska is at an elevation of 2300 feet. That means great views of beautiful Alaskan landscapes at the top. That means you absolutely must take this seven minute tram ride up to the top to the Upper Tram Terminal. The climb is about 2,025 feet. Remember to look down on your way up as it is not uncommon to catch sight wildlife such as bears and deer. Once you’ve reach, seek out the viewing platform. The panorama is ridiculously beautiful - valleys of meadows and spruce trees, glittering rivers, green and white mountains. You can explore the mountain top a little too. In the winter this is a very active skiing area, and there are other attractions such as the Seven Glaciers Restaurant and the Roundhouse museum.

Alyeska Aerial Tram, Anchorage Reviews - Write a Review
We bought the tram and lunch combo and were very happy with the overall experience! Views on tram and from the restaurant were amazing! Food was just OK at the deli, food voucher was enough to pay for everything we wanted though which was a nice surprise. Definitely would recommend this to anyone in the area! Saw a black bear on the drive here and also spotted a mama moose and baby moose on the hillside after lunch. Great experience! Well worth it!
This was a great experience for those visiting the area. The tram has multiple payment levels for kids, adults and seniors. I would highly recommend getting the tram ride with the lunch at the Boar Head restaurant, $20 lunch credit makes everything very affordable and worth it. Great sights, amazing view, really awesome experience!
Honestly not much to see. The tram up was reasonably filled where you could look out the window but in the way down it was crammed full. The lunch is at the ski lodge and is decent but overpriced. I don't think it was worth the money you pay for this.
The Tram ride is nice and scenic. However if you choose to eat at seven glaciers resturants, you need to be a very sophisticated person willing to drop $100 a person to be full. It's more of a multi course meals and each course is tiny portions. For the normal guy/family, this is not the place for you.
Cool for one time use not really worth your money for multiple times. Great for ppl visiting and want to see landscape
