Sometimes you don’t want to go to some far flung spot to go fishing. That’s why this park exists. Arctic char, salmon, rainbow trout, and salmonid hybrid are fish you’ll be able to find here.  It’s not a big or deep lake, only 10 hectares in area and 4 meters maximum depth. But it is a pleasant place to be. In winters you can ice fish!  The park next to the lake has a ball field, playground, grills, picnic tables, and volleyball courts.

  • We went on a beautiful sunny summer day. The sand was nice, the water was great. I love the new zip-line. There were at least 4 lifeguards on duty. They were attentive reminded swimmers of the rules. Bring food- you'll never want to leave!!! The only downside is the limited parking. There are always people parking out on the streets in the neighborhood.

  • We rented a kayak and used it here. Had a great time, rowing around hanging out with the ducks. Very peaceful and beautiful.

  • Has a fun zip line and a playground as well. A nice little beach but the swimmers pitch is a little bad. Just make sure that you shower afterwards.

  • Its impossible for the muni to keep up with all the goose poop in any water area, but the sand is typically cleaner than the grass at least. The playground itself is small with older wood&metal. Still probably the best "beach" available here, son loves it.

  • They have 1 grill, 6 metal picnic tables under a covered roof, a set of swings, a pirate boat with awesome slide, and a zip line. There is also a sandy beach to walk on with the lake footage. The only sad issue is that you cannot swim on the water due to Swimmer's Itch, a parasite that is in the water.
