Andros, Andros Reviews

  • Must visit 😍best Chora (capital of the island)I ever visited nice coffee places and restaurants. Nice for sightseeing and has a park for kids.

  • Half the island doesn't have many trees, but it is to be expected from an island. That's about every negative fact. It has some great beaches, most of its roads are solid and make traveling around the island more enjoyable. It's more of a family island than a party-night life island . It's worth the visit

  • Great island for an authentic Greek vacation. 90% of visitors are Greek. Rough, mountainous, windy. Green valleys, brooks, water springs, well signed trekking trails. Beautiful towns and beaches, although not as photogenic as more southern Cyclades. A few good museums. Excellent tavernas and bars with reasonable prices. If you have a few days, I recommend renting a car and splitting your stay between Batsi and Chora.

  • Chora (Andros) is a really nice place to walk around. The streets are actually stairs most of the time and the cycladic architecture is pretty charming. Almost an island, the village is surrounded by the Aegean sea, which adds to its charm. There's also a ruin of an ancient castle that adds a touch of legend to the village.

  • The only negative thing I have to say is very little trees, but except that I loved it, there are some amazing beaches, the water is absolutely georges and of course the people are very kind. Also very pretty sunset😍😍
