The Dixboro General Store was built in 1840 as a general store and even today, its original layout and structure still stand strong and untouched. The place has survived the Civil War and is a historic place in itself. Today, the store is popular for selling beautiful furniture pieces along with home decor items and accessories. Other than this, you can find locally made preserves, vintage items, antiques and a variety of gifs at the store. The fact that the place itself has a rich history, makes a visit here pretty interesting and if you are an art collector, do dig through the antique stores. You might just find a rare piece here during your visit!

  • Dixboro has a wonderful collection of farmhouse chic, old country classics, and furniture you'd be proud to own. The owners really know what they're doing and the salespeople are helpful and kind. The store and its outside areas are lovely all year, but make sure you go during the holidays...so nice!!

  • Unique items for the home maybe in a country flair. I bought a beautiful lantern with chargeable lighting. A little pricey, but you walk out with a one of a kind item that will certainly be an heirloom someday,
