About 90 km south along the coastline of Antalya, this Hellenistic city has left behind some enchanting ruins. In it’s heydays it was supposed to be a city rich in culture and arts. It was conquered by a mentor of young Julius Caesar. Closeby, there is a spot where the expulsion of methane has created an eternal flame, and for a lond time, this was attributed to the Chimaera. The beaches here are beautiful. It’s not crowded, which means that visitors more or less have the whole place to themselves. Architecturally, it offers pretty much the same as other cities in the Antalyan provinces like theatre, baths and harbor walls.
