It’s so pretty it’s called the Railway Cathedral. Its every aspect is lavishly and minutely decorated, and lovers of both architecture and trains have spent many an hour here photographing its loveliness. Particularly impressive is the giant iron and glass vault ceiling. If you visit, the beautiful way the modern and the classic meld together here will leave you speechless. To top off its perfection, it has Starbucks.

Antwerp Central Station Reviews & Ratings
The station from the outside and the ground floor on the inside has very nice architecture. Unfortunately the interior use of the building is not well thought of and pretty unfunctional. Dark passages with no decoration. The trains arrive on three levels which is an impressive structural strength. The underground floors are equally undecorated and pretty depressing. There is a lack of seating in general and especially at the tracks.
A very nice train station, very well organized! It has 4-5 levels, the platforms are in very good conditions. An important landmark! Very lively place, many people around! It is a must place to be seen in Antwerp. The building itself is magnificent, the design and architecture are marvellous!
The architecture is magnificent, overshadowing any minor flaws to be honest. The orientation of the platforms is mostly from top to bottom, most international trains can usually be found in the deeper tunnel section. There are some restaurants and cafes and a helpful desk (yet you may find yourself being able to buy them from the machines). Tip: if you only use this station for a transfer, still take some time to enjoy the main hall and the outside, it's breathtaking!
By far the most interesting and beautiful train station in the Benelux region! Friendly people, great shops too, nice places to buy a coffee or a sandwich. Don't forget to check out Le Café Royal on the first floor: very beautiful, grand and chic. Great food too!
The train station is a splendid architectural masterpiece. Sadly, the entrance seems to be full of beggars of african provenience. I think adding more security people would be a good idea.
