It’s so pretty it’s called the Railway Cathedral. Its every aspect is lavishly and minutely decorated, and lovers of both architecture and trains have spent many an hour here photographing its loveliness. Particularly impressive is the giant iron and glass vault ceiling. If you visit, the beautiful way the modern and the classic meld together here will leave you speechless. To top off its perfection, it has Starbucks.
- There are some excellent diamond stores around.
- The cafeterias are yummy.
- Beware of pickpockets.
- Tram and Bus Stops outside the Station.
- Lunch En Pasta.

It is one of the most beautiful railway station in the world. Antwerp Central Station is huge but has clearly marked platforms. It has both personal and electronic tickets booking. There are a number of cafes, eateries, convenience store, pharmacy, tourist office and much more. The main road is just at the exit of the station. שרון דבירי
Massive grand Victorian-era railway hub in the center of Antwerp. Beautiful, impressive architecture, with grand train shed and main concourse. Efficiently modernized in 2005-06 to meet needs of Antwerp in 21st century. A landmark that any tour of Antwerp/Anvers should not miss, and likely entry point anyways for most visitors to historic Belgian city, host to the 1920 Olympics. Highly recommended even if not traveling by train!
The most beautiful station I have ever seen. Clean & spacious. It has been renovated recently, I guess but it is a success, indeed.
Beautiful train station built by King Leopold 2 with ill gotten gains from the Congo. Located next to the zoo and the famous diamond trader’s quarter.
Bright clean station with fantastic architecture. Easy to find and clear boards for departure and arrival times. Ticket machines and assistants both available. HCentral location makes it handy for exploring the city,
