Elegant and beautiful, Antwerp’s famous theatre was built in 1819 and has since then undergone many renovations.  The Toneelhuiscompanyperforms there today. Before entering, notice the sculptures of Apollo and the nine muses looking down at the patrons. The threatre is lovely from the inside and the café is pretty good too.

  • An incredible place

  • Incredibly bad service. Went for a drink one afternoon and the waiter saw and served every other table, even the ones that sat down way after us. We had to leave when 30 minutes passed and no body served us.

  • Beautiful from the outside. Worth the walk to see it and the surrounding streets.

  • Great food and the climate of the hall takes you back in time.

  • Old opera building, majestic.
