Da Giovanni - Review
While restaurant as this cannot be deemed as a popular tourist attraction, it is certainly much talked about among foodies who come here to have a taste of some authentic Italian dishes. The flavours of this place are just what you would expect from the old town of Antwerp, mouthwatering and riveting, enough to take you back in time. A much-recommended one will be the lasagna and their own labelled red wine. For folks visiting with friends or family, ensure to make a stop here and have your fill for some very delicious dishes in the city. The ambience is good and comfortable and prices are cheap which all more makes it a great choice to dine.

Da Giovanni, Antwerp Reviews
Very Nice place with lot of person.. you may have to wait for free table.. Nice food and nice hotel personnel..
In October 2017 I went here with some friends. The food was delicious and the service was nice - price quality = excellent. However that changed: the second visit to this restaurant (Aug 2018) was really disappointing: we wanted to eat before 6 so the place was not crowded yet. HOWEVER the service was so rushed and pushy that we were not comfortable sitting there. We felt rushed: we already left the place after only 35 min (we got the food within minutes which was good). I ordered pasta with garlic, olive oil and spicy peppers (which I couldn't find in my food). The prices were higher than last time but the food and the service both got worse! Leaving the price quality ratio really low. We are students but when I got the bill and asked, we were told we couldn't get the discount because the bill has already been printed. Definitely things the restaurant could improve! I might give it another shot in the future but the service really has to improve. No one likes paying for food when you eat uncomfortably because the service makes you feel that way.
Service is excellent but the pizza may disappoint - Opening late night is a plus, and the menu option is extensive. Adding topping can cost upwards of 4 euros (spicy Italian salami, in my case). Friendly and attentive servers added one star.
Really amazed by the good food. Good service. Soft drinks are very expenisve though. But you get 20% off if you show your student ID before calling the bill.
Pizza was great and the service pleasant. The fact you'll be able to sit at a beautiful but touristic square is calculated into the price, but it sums up to be well worth it.
