Cheap chillies, tortillas and quesadillas all washed down with bucket loads of cocktails, makes this a place to go with pals for a night that leaves your wallet feeling pleasantly plump. But you'll have to wait your turn. It's tiny and always overpopulated, so sit at the bar and start on the Margaritas. A sign on the door gives an indication of size — no more than six in a group, please. If you're an early bird, do as the locals do and start queuing on the street ten minutes before the doors open at 6pm.

  • Very good and tasty Mexican food. Minimum capacity so come early

  • Was one of the best places until a few months ago, they're just going for the cash now. Very sad to see this happen. Crowded, tourists discovered it, and it's hard to get even the usual friendly way of treating customers. After 5 years, no more for me. I'm done.

  • Very good Mexican place. Original interior and great food and cocktails. Staff was friendly.

  • One of my favorite spots for the longest time! Quesadilla Caraibe, Daiquiri and a shot afterwards and you're good to go for a night on the town!

  • Introduced this restaurant to my friends the other day and was surprise with the bad treatment we got as a customer. We were 3 but ordered 2 main dishes, one side dish and 3 cocktails as we weren't that hungry (and didn't want to spill food). For the main course we asked for 1 additional plate so we could share. We didn't get this that we didn't get because "they were all in the dishwasher" (yea right, I just returned one 2 minutes before we received the mains). And that's not it. When we asked the bill, we had to pay additionally 1€ because "the cashier registers we were 3 so the system needs to add a dish". I've been working in restaurants before and never heard of this system. I truly understand that we might not be the most profitable customers of the evening, but it was not as if we were sharing 1glass of water and 1 loaf of bread amongst 3 persons. And if... this is not what I called customer friendly. When I didn't tip the waiter of course ,he was quite surprised and started to imitate us how we talked when we left. Arrogant, rude, childish, not acceptable. Which is a pity, because I used to like it here and recommend this place. (And no, I'm not a one-day frustrated tourist that passed by.) Go to Tranquilos at the Dageraadplaats, much better food - and definitely a better service!
