This eccentric looking building I s relatively new among the other museums, but it’s gained a lot of love quickly. It showcases the industrial spirit and history of Antwerp. The main collections are themed around Metropolis, Power, and Life and Death. The guided tour is amazing; so make sure to hire one. At the viewing gallery at the top, the views of Antwerp and surrounding areas are supposed to be fabulous. There are thousands and thousands of items on display.

Mas - Museum Aan De Stroom Reviews & Ratings

  • MAS has something for everybody. If you want to be cheap, you can just visit to see the marvellous building or go to the top for an amazing view of Antwerp. There are always amazing limited exposition for a nice price (8 euro for students) and the other rooms are also very interesting. Employees are friendly as well. A must see if you are visiting Antwerp/Belgium.

  • Go to the top of the building for the most amazing view. All the four sides will provide you with different views which definitely fills your mind. Even without taking ticket you can go to the roof top . Most of the people come here just to experience this spectacular view. But tickets are needed to visit the museum.

  • The view from the rooftop deck is gorgeous, especially on a sunny day. It's a great place to take pictures of the skyline of Antwerp or the river. Different exhibits on each level and they rotate free exhibits regularly. Several cafes, pubs and restaurants nearby that sit waterfront.

  • Very good museum about Antwerp city, Belgium in the world, life/death, and some temporary exhibition (japan cool). 10€ for 10 floors, good deal ! Restaurant on top (must book in advance) and free panorama). Free WiFi but no late opening (5pm everyday) also possible to visit the storage room for research.

  • Nice spot to visit on a clear day as the views can't be beat. The installations were a little bland for such a cool space so we skipped over the last few to make it to the top, which is the highlight. Really interesting architecture with the wavy thick glass windows. We heard the restaurant at the top is very good but it is often closed so we couldn't try it. We went on the last Wednesday of the month when the museum is free. Highly recommend going at this time because the exhibits are just mediocre so would have been disappointed to pay a lot of €€.
