Born out of an open air sculpture exhibition in the 1950’s, the Middelheim Sculpture Museum currently has over 200 hundred fantastic pieces on display, and the number grows every year. This is actually a park across which the sculptures are tastefully arranged. The creations are quirky, surreal, and a never ending delight. The kids will love it.

  • It is always wonderful to return here, been coming here since I was a child. The older sculptures are well kept and really make the park come alive. I'm not a fan of the abstract art, though, it stands out like sore thumb between the classic art and doesn't suit the park in my opinion.

  • Just such a wonderful place. How we only just heard about it after 15 years in Belgium is a mystery. Beautiful gardens and the most joyful and amazing collection of sculptures.

  • This place is simply amazing. Absolutely one-of-a-kind collection in a splendid setting. Maps and info about the art could be better, but then part of the fun is getting lost and stumbling across new masterpieces...Also magical in any season!

  • It a nice open space with a range of different styles of sculptures to discover. If it’s a dry day, then I recommend for a couple hours of walking

  • Wonderful park filled with modern art pieces. Closes early during winter! Closed on mondays
