Beachcomber Motel & Apartments, Apollo Bay Reviews
Staff (owners I guess) are kind and helpful. The hotel is located just 3 minutes walk from the beachfront where you can find bakery, cafés and restaurants. The room was a bit small but very clean. The only bad thing was that it seems that pillows don’t have a pillowcase, or at least not a clean one. It was made with the same fabric as the bed cover and didn’t smell very fresh so not sure it is cleaned after each guest. The bedside lamps didn’t work. Good value for money though.
Very clean and modern rooms. Just far enough from the centre of town to be quiet. Our room (15) is a double bed, and I would happily thoroughly recommend it to anyone. This is our 1st visit, and next trip to this area we would book ahead.
Rude and racist. I am glad I am not the only one saying so. Please don't reply saying that you doubt whether I stayed here before because it doesn't benefit me of telling the truth to the rest of the community. We did enjoy GOR but not your property and you. Refer to your reply. We rent 2 houses, each house with 1 queen size bed and 3 single beds, that able to fit 10 adults and 1 toddlers and 1 baby. However, you are charge us additional $120 for 2 adults and 1 toddler ( baby is free) which equivalent to rent 1 more house. But u didnt provide us the choice. Apparently you are the money sucker.
Stayed not that long ago for 2 nights. On arrival the older lady/owner has no idea how to greet or be polite to guest. I went to ask a question about the laundry and she shut me down straight away before I could even finish my question with (just wait let me do this first) very bluntly. Then tried to overcharge me for my stay even when I tried to correct her with my confirmation email, she still tried to make me pay nearly $100 extra, once she saw that I was correct she Blaimed it on her partner Chris. She Then asked why my child is not at school. That’s non of your business. The rooms was very underwhelming for the price. Only good thing about it is that it’s close to everything. They complain the kitchen needs to be left in the way it was found or you will need to pay $30-$50 in cleaning fees. First off how about cleaning the floors? By the time you walk from the bed to the shower (only a few meters away) your feet are black. Very small old fashioned rooms. Very out dated. Would never recommend this place to anyone not just cause the owners are arrogant and rude but the rooms and property are horrible.
Very clean - had everything I needed for my short stay. Nice, helpful owners. 5 or 10 min walk to the Ocean Rd. shoping strip and beach. I would stay there again.
