  • I was a volunteer for my granddaughter's 4th grade class. We had 5 including me with our group. We went to so many different quaint little shops there and the kids bought a couple of things that were very nice. They had an old fashioned ice cream store and an Old Fashioned General Store. We would need a few more hours to see everything that we would like to see. This was a great experience!

  • Living History for all to enjoy. Was with 3 generations, 8-77, and everyone enjoyed it and can't wait to go back in the spring. Many new things happening so more reasons to revisit. Favorites were the train ride (even in wheelchair), the animals, buggy ride and the barber shop.

  • This is our fourth year visiting and it just keeps getting better each time. We have five children ages baby to 10 years of age and we all absolutely LOVE it! Such a wholesome and safe educational environment. Staff member Ryan did a fabulous job answering all of our questions about the farm animals. The two member horse and buggy team were phenomenal and did a great job explaining everything about horses and their gear. The garden shed is such a delight and so many interesting things to see and learn about. The kids learn so much and so do their parents! We drive almost 2 hours and it is so worth it. We have a family membership and feel it is definitely worth every penny. The Grime house and property is our favorite!

  • Very interesting early American culture. Well done. The people there are friendly and helpful. Well worth the trip.

  • The people that work there were great!! God put a amongst amount of love in these people. They reminded me of what the world can be. I hope you get a chance to be a part of what's going on there. Have a blessed time!!!!!!!!!!
