Arrow Rock State Historic Site was established in 1923 and is an open-air museum. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the site is a prime spot along the Santa Fe Trail and honors the history of the Arrow Rock area. The visitors’ center museum on-site has exhibits that give you a glimpse of the Arrow Rock and the Boone's Lick country. Arrow Rock State Historic Site also includes The Bingham Home dating back to the 1880s, the Houston tavern restaurant, an old courthouse, stone jail, town doctor's home, and other historic buildings.
