Tumulus Saint-michel - Review
The site is a megalithic mound built during 5th millennium BC and the excavations carried out revealed that it was a home to various precious objects which have now been reserved at Museum of Prehistory of Carnac. There is a chapel dedicated to St. Michel at the summit and an orientation table which gives you a beautiful sight of the landscape. For a splendid view of the Gulf of Morbihan you should go to the top and you will certainly be left awestruck. A symbolic place to take your children, the wonderful surroundings will make your visit worthwhile.
Tumulus Saint-michel is generally not available on the guided Carnac tours, but there are plenty others that are worth visiting.
