Jack Of The Wood, Asheville Reviews
Comfortable little bar that has live folk music. Decent selection of local craft beers on about 15 taps. Great atmosphere, but a little tight for large groups.
If you love shepherd's pie you will love this because they make it with lamb instead of just ground beef. Reuben sandwich is very unique because they prepare the meat on site and it has a wonderful Smoky flavor to it. It is truly a unique and satisfying sandwich. Friday evenings they have live band there if you get there before the band starts playing there is no cover charge. They also had some happy hour specials
Our bartender Melissa was a real vision of beauty and hospitality!! What a fun Sunday - great mimosa deal, conversation and she even saved my life! 10/10 would recommend.
Friendly & efficient waitress! Scotch eggs were yummy & shepherds pie was delish! Lots of live music, but we couldn't stay. Would definitely go back!
A fun laid back pub with a friendly vibe. We enjoyed the Thursday night blue grass jam, whilst tucking into their yummy food. I had the Guinness stew which was delicious and my dining partner loved his fish & chips with carrot cake chaser. A nice mix of ages and walks of life. Recommended for a chilled yet fun evening
