Stopped in for a quick bite. Quickly found a table and was greeted within a few minutes with menus. I ordered a Guinness, it was perfect. Started with a homemade pretzel and cheese, next to the beer it was my favorite! We shared the Guinness Stew served over mashed potatoes, with a side of crispy brussel sprouts. Food came out fast and was hot. Can't wait to go back!
We stopped here for lunch because it was the first place we found in the area that didn't have a 45 minute wait. I had the reuben and it was very good. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. I'd love to see live music here sometime.
First time I'd been here in years and it was ok. Came for the shepherd's pie and it was good when they finally got it right. The 3 shepherd pies initially brought out to 2 family members and myself were pretty cold. The waitress was pretty cool, but felt she needed to explain that the ice in our water will eventually melt when we asked for water with no ice.
Great spot for drinks and food. Staff all friendly and attentive. Some good local artists performing while we were there. Had an enjoyable experience.
My favorite Asheville pub. Great beer and delicious food. Wonderful music. I love going there for old time or Irish music sessions.
