  • All around a great experience. My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon at The Admiral and were NOT disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious and well prepared. The drinks were great too! (Best old fashioned ever) I would definitely recommend a visit here and we will have to come back again!

  • So chic, so sexy! I celebrated my birthday eve here at the bar with a great friend. The food the great. Ask for the champagne with Grenadine. The staff was very accommodating and polite. The lobby staff was very informative. Gave us a quick tour and knowledge download of the hotel. Even the valet went over and above for us.

  • Quaint neighborhood restaurant. Overall did not meet price expectations nor expectations from other reviewers. The fried oysters had so much breading that I couldn’t taste the oysters, plus there was half a plate of aoli, which leads me to believe the chef didn’t want us to taste the oysters. I ordered the Bibb salad and the pecans and bacon were a nice touch. The short rib was a bit dry and uninspiring. Honestly, the meal was just pricey, elevated bar food. Hopefully this was just an off night and next time will be a bit more interesting/inspiring.

  • The admiral has a well deserved reputation for innovative and delicious food! With one exception, (and that was decent, but routine) the appetizer and small plates we shared were marvelous. Since the menu changes all the time, we look forward to coming back on our next visit to Asheville.

  • Extremely limited parking and a nondescript exterior. WONDERFUL foodie experience! Great service and wine list. Would go again!
