  • Good price for a nice tour of where Thomas Wolfe grew up and the memories that inspired his literary masterpieces. The tour is about 45 minute long. A must visit historical site while in Asheville.

  • Very informative guide. He had a interested life. So glad it's been reserved right in the middle of downtown Asheville.

  • One of the only museums in WNC, great place to learn about Asheville in the 1920's-30's, as well as Wolfe's life, family, and extended contributions to literature. The museum part is a great place to visit in downtown Asheville, it is free or minimal cost. The attached house is a wonderful place to take in and imagine Asheville a century ago. They've done a great job restoring it after a hellish arson a couple decades ago. The staff is knowledgeable and provides a good experience.

  • If you have read Thomas Wolfe then you will get a feel of where and what he was writing in Asheville. Look Homeward Angel and You Can't Go Home Again. Some of his written works were published in the New Yorker. Visit the welcome center and then the boarding home. Period furnished.

  • The many artifacts and the movie was very good.
