  • Great. Lots of fresh veggies and pumpkins everywhere. Make sure you go down the hill to the vendors down there. Better produce at reasonable prices. Apples were good too!

  • This is the largest farmers market I've been to! They have a whole shelter dedicated to home made, crafted good ranging from jams and honey, to wood carvings and fashion. There are many other stalls of great produce for good prices. They are connected to a restaurant in walking distance that uses most if not all of the farmers market produce for ingredients! How cool?!

  • Very nice. Loved the many vendors. Prices were a little higher, but you can find somethings reasonable prices. Love it.

  • A little disappointing, seemed more like a flea market. We were looking for locally produced fruit/ veggies / meats, there was some there, but I had to look too hard to find it. It'd be nice if they had a "locally produced only" section. Check it out for yourself, they have some nice stuff, just not my cup of tea for this trip.

  • This year 2019, I saw the best produce available at the market in years. I was impressed with the variety, amount available and most importantly the quality and freshness. Apples and bell peppers the size of softballs. The sweetest peaches, tastiest apples and juicy watermelon were everywhere. I walked the entire wholesale market enjoying the beautiful rows of apples, tomatoes, peppers, and and a seemingly unending variety of products displayed beautifully. Friendly people selling the products were abundant. Everyone enjoying the day. Children were there with parents helping organize displays and of course getting in some playtime. If near stop by... Load your car ... Go home, cook and enjoy.. I used a 12oz water bottle to emphasize the size of the products on display. I am posting all the pictures I took.. not just the good ones because you might miss something. It was an enjoyable time talking to vendors and admiring the agricultural products available. Take a day and visit The Western North Carolina Farmer's Market. You have a great time and leave with the best ag products available... fresh and tasty!
