Zia Taqueria Reviews & Ratings

  • We've tried this place several times over the years. Friendly staff, good service. The food is always mediocre, coarsely prepared and bland. Good drinks. Worth a try, if you like this kind of thing. We're probably not going back.

  • Probably my favorite restaurant in town! I come regularly and am always more than pleased with the delicious food and seasonal offerings. Sunday brunch rocks! The frozen screwdriver with the sangria swirl is a must! I'm excited to try food truck for breakfast! My favorite part about the restaurant though us the service. I absolutely adore all the staff and I am always treated with the utmost kindness l, care, and respect whenever I come. Marie is dear to my heart and always takes extra time out of her day to come talk to me or give me a hug. She is so wonderful and one of the reasons I love to come. Marshall, Rachael, Luke and Tristen and everyone in the front of house is a joy. I know when I come here the food will be incredible and I am treated like a friend. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the awesome food and service at Zia.

  • The Mexican Hatch Green Chile Stew was absolutely amazing! I could have had a big bowl of that and nothing else and been perfectly happy. Service was really quick and seating was immediate on a Sunday around 2. There’s parking, so that’s a plus.

  • My wife and I tried it for the first time. Service was awesome. The atmosphere relaxed casual. Food had a beautiful presentation. Everything we had was delicious. Prices were very resonable. Our new favorite place.

  • Tasty tacos at a decent price in the heart of downtown West Asheville. Given the area's hyper-competitive taco marketplace, there is little to distinguish Zia Taqueria from many others in town. If this were in another city, it would rate five stars, easily. But if you're nearby and hungry, it's still quite good.
