  • Great place to visit. We didn't do the full tour but didn't miss out on the wine and cheese tasting. Great fun at a real vineyard If you take The Dart boat trip you can see the impressive vineyards and Sharpham House

  • What a great little place! A 'healthy' walk from Totnes along the riverside. Beautiful location, excellent food and of course the wine and cheese! The cafe does coffee as well, so perfect for the tea-totallers too :-)

  • We arrived late in day so just had tea and cake. Teapots are a little small for the price but they did get refilled with hot water. Interesting selection of locally grown wine and cheese. No tasting unless you buy a small plater which is fine if you have all afternoon but a bit hit and miss if you just want to buy there produce. However their samples mixes looked good value and nice to try. Stunning scenery and views over the Dartmoor, Totnes and on the Dartmoor. Be prepared to back up quite a lot to let vehicles pass as you drive there and back.

  • It wasn't the best weather when we visited but the experience more than made up for it. Our lunch was outstanding. The quality of the food and of the cooking was brilliant. We also took the tour of the vineyard and the wine making plant, which was very interesting. I have to confess I have never taken much interest in the growing and making of wine but the passion and knowledge of his subject made Tom, our guide, the perfect person to soak my interest. The quality of the wines was also a very pleasant surprise.

  • Very disappointed. Having recieved a bottle of their wine as a gift, I thought it would be nice to go and learn more with our family who were visiting from Dorset. We had not booked a guided tour but their website stated you could do a self guided tour with a map. We got there at midday to be told that we could not do a walk as it is a working vineyard and there were vehicles on site. Suggested we went to cafe for coffee and they would let us know. Good ploy for getting us to spend immediately. Disappointed that the young lady wrote down our 4 drinks and after 15mins arrived with the wrong ones! We hung around as did others and an hour later still could not go on the walk, yet those who had paid for a quided walk went on their way. We gave up and left. We are local so we knew other places in the area to visit. Will not be recommending this venue.
