The Maroon Creek Trail follows starts from the Maroon Lake and traces the route parallel to the Maroon Creek. The trail ends at the East Maroon Portal campground. It is a relatively easy path that mostly goes downhill. Shuttles travel up and down this road frequently so if you feel tired you can easily hop into the bus and reach your desired destination. You will often cross the Maroon Creek on this trail route. Pine trees surround the track and add to its beauty. From the open meadows, you can catch glimpses of the Seivers Mountain. If you look around closely, you will see the Maroon Bells and Pyramid Peak in the distance. You can even ride on horseback here.
