A must go venue for bike racing. To top it off, the locals are amazing. Try out the barns that turn into pubs when the big events are on.... great fun.
Great track. Seating area good. Could do with another large screen especially by the camp site. Dutch are easy going and friendly guys.
Just another circuit (not). I've been here loads of times and have never been let down by the Dutch. Great racing and circuit, and the parking is what you should expect at any circuit, but you don't. I will keep coming back until I can't.
People at race circuits tend not to be too fussy, especially motorcyclists. Assen delivers everything you'd expect. Plenty of free parking, food outlets and merchandise tents. There are masses of grandstands around the circuit, together with banked viewing areas. If the weather is nice, it is essily one of the best places to watch motorsport. Not called the Cathedral of Speed for nothing.
First time some friends and I have been to the track. We attended the full three days. Easy to get to and well signed, stewards giving directions. The only fly in the ointment was when we arrived for race day (Sunday) we were directed away from the entrance we had been using. We rode down a narrow lane with no signs/directions or stewards! What made it worse was other bikers following us. Eventually we stopped and a local biker directed us back to where we could get into the track. All in all a great track, acres of free seating, or if you prefer grass banking. Plenty of food and drink outlets.
