  • This is one of the happening and accessible markets of Athens. Loaded with variety of shops and restaurants it has lots more to offer. The best deals can be sought for from different brands. But be aware of the people who try to sale gadgets and equipments openly without bills (black marketing). Overall it was nice experience of being here. You will really cherish it if you visit it in evening hours.

  • Everyone said we HAD to go to Syntagma Square but don’t be upset if you can’t. It’s a very nice square. We made our way over there as we were strolling around Athens after seeing all the major sites we wanted to see. It’s a cool open space to hangout with benches and people watch. There’s a cool fountain by there that lights up at night and on the way there, you’ll see a lot of shops. Also, it’s across the street from the Parliament and the Garden (Closes at 7PM) so you can take some nice photos or even see the changing of the guards.

  • Nice square to stroll through day or night. The airport shuttle bus also runs from the side of the square near the shops. Good place to relax and people watch

  • Famous landmark in the Greek capital and often used as a meeting point. For tourists it is very easy to reach from the airport by bus, taxi and metro.Prime location in front of the National Parliament and nearby the National Gardens , embassies, metro station, hotels, restaurants , shops, market and historical places. Nice round fountain in the middle. Due to its central location it's always busy.

  • If you are in Athens, take the subway and stop here. The tunnel goes through ancient Greek antiquities and has them on full display. Including a grave with a full human skeleton on display. All circa 50BC or so. Do not miss this, just incredible!!
