Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint Reviews & Ratings

  • The atmosphere here was great. The live music was refreshing and I even got a birthday shout-out. We did have a large group so service was a tad slow but nothing a nice beat couldn't solve. The food was great, I had the crab cakes Benedict (pictured), of course people had chicken and waffles which they liked along with a few other dishes I can't remember. Highly recommended.

  • We were in town for a trade show, threw a proverbial dart at a restaurant list and hit Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint. Talk about luck! From the food, to the service, to the atmosphere and vibe, this place was perfect for a bunch of northerners trying to get a fun Atlanta experience. Trya, our hostess, was absolutely wonderful. She explained the menu well and spent more than enough time with us. The music wasn't too loud, and the atmosphere was great. Now for what you want to hear ... THE FOOD. We had the trout, the fried chicken and the BBQ Ribs. All of them were amazing. But the chicken. Man oh man, the chicken. Flavorful, marinated well and fried to perfect. We didn't hesitate to recommend Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint to all of our colleagues.

  • Would definitely recommend this spot for brunch. The food is very tasty and flavorful. You can tell the food is made from scratch. There is live music on most nights so you will be entertained while you eat. Nice place for a date night or to get together with friends.

  • Great place for cocktails and music. They had a band tonight and they were fabulous. That woman had pipes and the drummer was on it. And the mac and cheese is delicious. Cocktails are great. Anything with moonshine is a good bet.

  • I really wanted to like this place; I heard many reviews (both good and bad) but wanted to go anyway. Boy was I wrong. I had a reservation and was seated immediately. We waited over an hour before a server (who wasn't even ours) came by and waited on us for the duration of the time we were there. The food was okay; it came out fresh but lacked seasoning. The live band was awesome and got the crowd involved. Unfortunately I won't be returning.
