About World Of Coca Cola, Atlanta

De-mystifying Coca-Cola can only happen here. For a company that’s managed to keep it’s production process secret so long, it certainly plays up it’s own mystique to the hilt. The attraction is as much an advertising gimmick as it is anything else.

The personality of the cola, and it’s historical influences leap out at you from the very start, with giant bottles made from different materials around the world.

The Hub is the centre point of all attractions – which includes the Coca-Cola Polar Bear (click a pic), the Vault of the Secret Formula, the Milestones of Refreshments (showcasing branding history), the Bottle Works (an actual, slowed-down bottling line), a 4-D movie, a Pop-Culture Gallery (highlighting the drink’s influence), Perfect pauses (TV advertising), and the Coca-Cola Store.

If all this sounds rather mundane, think about the fact that the place receives over a million visitors every year. World Of Coca Cola is one of the attractions in one day itinerary for Atlanta. Must visit this awesome attraction.

  • I love the World of Coca-Cola museum!! My mom took me to this museum a few years ago and I loved it! I surprised my husband on his birthday and traveled 6 hours to take him here. He really loved it and I am so glad I could enjoy it again with him! The staff were sooo friendly to us as soon as we entered the museum. They even gave my husband a "Guest of the Day" coca-cola pass. We pray we can visit again in the near future!! Thanks for making my husband's first visit and my second visit a wonderful BLAST!!!

  • Amazing place, It is safe they bring everyone through metal detectors before entering. There are free bottles of coke offered at the entrance and exit. You get a free tour for part of the trip. They have many rooms such as a 4D movie, History of coke, taste testing room, etc. The taste testing rook is favorite part of the tour. You can try different coke products from around the world. They also have the BEST blended coke. This is a must-visit if you're visiting Atlanta Georgia. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

  • I had planned on the aquarium, but the line was immense and I had limited time. This is a fine museum of one of the worlds most popular products. On its surface its flashy propaganta, but if you take your time reading the little displays you learn of the nuances and subtle decisions that formed Coke into a world brand. I especially loved the 'New Coke' section of the museum. The best part was the end tasting. There are Coke spigots for Coke products from across the globe. That Inca Soda was amazing, and the melon soda brought back memories of my student exchange to Japan when I was in High School. Fantastic museum.

  • This place is very cool. Lots of history and the sampling room is excellent. If you have the nerve, try the Beverly haha. They offer a military day on Mondays where active duty and veterans get free admission.

  • World of Coke is a lot of fun. So much to see and do. It is a lot of advertisement and marketing, but it's coke. The 4D experience was pretty cool. I really liked the coke tasting area. Definitely a fun trip to bring your kids.
