This is a very good fishing spot at the dock. I caught my first red drum here!
I love fishing here. There's tons of variety in the water on any given day. Reds, flounder, spots, black drums, crabs, pinfish just to name a few. Sometimes I like to cast out over the bridge just before the dirt road, but be careful not to snag your line on the oyster beds. The fishing pier is always a fun spot and offers excellent views of the intracoastal waterway. Amenities include restrooms, showers, picnic areas, kayak launches, and campgrounds. Bring plenty of bug spray during the warm months.
A great trail for a short hike (1.6miles) with lots of shade and Marsh views.
For any of you Travelers who enjoy quiet secluded marshlands you should check this place out, "it's absolutely beautiful! I've seen it in the evening time right before dusk, but I haven't been there yet in the morning. I haven't had the chance to snap any photos out there yet either, but I can't wait to be able to; I plan on doing it one morning this spring.
Staten Island is awesome you can go there and have peace and enjoy the nature over the park
