To enjoy a great time with family and friends you can plan to go to the Town Park at Point Lookout. It is an open beach park where you can enjoy sun and sand to the fullest with your companions. You can play beach volley and beach football here to do justice to your fun day out. If you are not into playing, you can just take a stroll on the beach and enjoy the marvellous sight of the sea. The beach is pretty clean but you must be careful about the seaweeds though. You can park your car here for free. For both children and elderly people, this beach park is suitable to visit.

Town Park At Point Lookout Reviews & Ratings
Grew up going here but what a decline. Facilities usually closed so it's a long walk when they're needed. Also the town switched to scanning licenses. If you're a resident but your town isn't in their database (that's their explanation) then after waiting on the line of cars you gotta go into the office to pay, then you gotta wait on line again to show proof that you paid before you can go in. I go to the beach to relieve my stress. Not to add to it. Town supervisor's office had no remedy for the problem they created. Good to see my tax dollars going to good use. Yeah, that's sarcasm.
What a great town beach. Easy access. Great parking. Beautiful sand. Another Long Island exceptional beach!
Beautiful beach. They charge $50 per car to get in. Nassau county horrible government at work. They are making it impossible for people to live in Nassau with high real estate taxes and school tax
We had a great time, lots of sand, we were visiting family & it was costly $50.00 to park. They try to keep the outsiders out I suppose, the residents only pay $10.00, they said if you want less expensive go to Jones beach. Wow!!!
Nice beach primarily for Nassau County residents. Residents pay 10.00 admission Non Residents 50.00. They will check your license and scan it for proof of residency.
