Šatov (German: Schattau) is a small town (městys) in Znojmo District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. The town covers an area of 13.43 square kilometres (5.19 sq mi), and has a population of 1,186 (as at 28 August 2006). Šatov lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south of Znojmo, 64 km (40 mi) south-west of Brno, and 184 km (114 mi) south-east of Prague.
