Awesome group of people! The pastor has been there for a long time, and really enjoys what he does. You can tell the people feel loved there. I highly recommend them.
The very first time I walked into the church was two weeks ago and I was greeted so warmly by so many people. The music was, for me, as if I had been wrapped in Jesus' loving arms! A woman sat beside me and I commented on her Bible bookmark and let me read the Bible verses with her as I had forgotten my Bible. She was so kind that she gave me her bookmark. What a precious thing to do! She even invited me to join the choir! (I think she was being kind because my voice is not as it used to be!). I heard many voices that sounded like mine, very Southern, -and I felt like I belonged there as I walked through the door! The Pastor was definitely a Godly man who spoke The Word from the KJB and he also made me laugh out loud as he interspersed the sermon with humor! I could not wait until the next Sunday! Last week, I was dressed and ready to go but the snow was so bad on our road that I could not get the car out of the driveway and could not get to church. I was really sad about that and I began to walk but our community had not been paved yet so it just not safe. Tomorrow I will be there even though we have more snow than we did last week. I can hardly wait as I am starving to be around fellow believers.
My home church.
