  • Free! A hydraulic generating plant in the middle of Toulouse (literally) developed into a sort of museum/exhibition centre. Very good descriptions of how it came into existence (it's still operating). You can wander down into the old brick conduits and see where the river rushed into the building to turn the shafts which drove the dynamos... Great for kids!! I went on a rainy day in December 2018 and played with a fascinating sound exhibition. Loads of children having a wonderful time. Plus there is a fish ladder, plus there is an underwater viewing window (Hublot) plus a beautiful view of the Bazacle and The River Garonne from a very fine terrace.... And it's FREE.

  • First of all, It is free and have toilet. Second, it is excellent exhibition to learn how they build and generate electricity. Good for families and friends.

  • Interesting basic exhibition. Not much plant to see

  • A great place to visit. I really recommend it! You can visit one of the oldest and unique hydroelectric industry center in Toulouse which is a museum now. And you can also have an especial and beautiful panorama view of the Garonne. Entrance is free.

  • The building reflection on the calm water is captivating and thanks to the clear blue sky, such a sight is paradisiacal.
