  • Nice place for a stroll with the kids on weekends. There was even a live duo playing some tunes. Very nice gardens. They should set up a nicer gift shop and the cafe could be a bit trendier. There is so much potential here.

  • Beautiful park, amazing in the spring with flowers out and cherry blossoms on the trees. Vast range of plants arranged in little microclimates indicative of their natural environment. Many a lake and water feature with rolling grass good for a picnic. Quiet, you feel like you are out of the city rather then parked by the motorway. Great for a walk or run with gardens for kids to learn. One of my favourite places

  • Amazing place to be with your family. The cafe has a great selection of food and drink. The gardens are wide spread and interesting, and the people, visitors and staff, actually smile and engage in conversation. Plan to make it our number 1 stop on future visits to Auckland.

  • A really nice place to enjoy nature. We're delighted to see birds of different colours that flies freely in the area. Best to go during spring to enjoy this cherry blossom

  • My family and I really enjoy visiting The botanical gardens , however on a sunny weekend day it can be very hard to find a carpark and it’s very difficult when the car park is full and the side streets are also full . I don’t understand why the second carpark isn’t opened up more often . The cafe is lovely and great food and drinks are served there. The sculptures they have yearly are great and adults and kids alike will enjoy wondering around the gardens looking at them .
