  • A lovely place to take walks. When did you get here last? Great trees. Acacia Cottage is a memorable place to visit. Sir John Logan Campbell's tiny first home in Auckland. We'll presented with the appropriate interior decor - humble.

  • Large open park with somewhat rural feel right in the city of Auckland. Can get busy at weekends and holidays. You can free roam in this park which is great and there are sheep in many of the fields which just adds to the rural feel. From the top of the hill there is a great 360 degree view of city and surroundings. Note that the road to the top is closed to traffic which is great for many people but if you have a physical need to get driven up you can apply for a pass.

  • Great parking lots and beautiful views from the summit. Create your own message in the crater, to be seen by everyone on the summit. Only down point is the barriers that block bikes from going up to the summit. Fine toilets + large amounts of BBQ area

  • Cornwall Park is one of my most fond places to find peace&tranquility even amongst lots of people who frequent it. It's iconic&in the present because it gives you a taste of what it would be like on a farm but your in suburbia. I often took my 3children there when they were much younger. Later on when the family got our 1st puppy I frequented the park for our daily walks together... Such a wonderful gift given to the people of Auckland city many years ago

  • Great Park to enjoy the great outdoors. Plenty of room to let the kids run around or have a picnic. Lots of places to go walking or running. There is a playground for the kids to have fun in or there is the cafe which is a popular choice for those wanting a coffee or something to eat. There is even sheep and cows roaming is some areas which is amazing seeing how close you are to Auckland City.
