Sylvia Park Shopping Centre Reviews & Ratings

  • A nice clean mall with good brands for a rounded shopping experience. There is Hoyt's cinema as well for a nice family movie time. Although there are some nice restaurants there isn't a big food court so the food choices can be slightly limiting. However, its connectivity with Train, Bus and Motorway is excellent.

  • Is this NZ's best designed mall? It's certainly the largest in New Zealand and probably the most visited. Very well laid out and lots of open public spaces. Recommended. I visited by train which meant I had no parking stress.

  • I have loved this Mall for its convenience. But the lay out of the mall and the increase in its popularity have impacted on the enjoyable experience. The two walkways that the mall management design are too cramped. This is because of the centre way being occupied by open kiosks and breakaway stores. Hey it's business but. However moving through the crowds of people is hampered. Unless your wanting to stroll and amble, you still have to deal with congestion. So if you are needing something quick from a particular store, park as close as you can. Watch out for time limits though. Nowadays I avoid Sylvia Park for shopping and just use the cinema and drop in for one to two items. It's the layout. Otherwise I've loved it. Though I opt to shop elsewhere, being St Lukes, nowadays for better mall management.

  • No one should miss this mall if you are in Auckland. The best part I like is the entry directly from the car parking to 1st level. Ample of shops and you never know the time spent there. It's quite interesting shops and entertainment around.

  • It's a popular mall. It's spacious and can boost your daily step rate if you choose to park at one end and walk to the other and back. On Saturday shops close at 7pm. There were still plenty of people around though.
