Waitawa Regional Park Entrance Reviews & Ratings
This spot is a hidden gem for those wanting a fish or as in my case teach my little daughter how to fish while on a wharf. It is a popular destination for fishing enthusiasts and those seeking to jump and bomb. An alternative to swimming at the wharf can be undertaken at the Bay where picnic tables and a public toilet. Car parking is limited.
Second visit here .... So beautiful
Beautiful reserve with amazing views and bmx tracks along with walking tracks to take your friends n family on if your up for a bit of a challenge
Beautiful views, nice clean facilities, trails are well marked with good signage and maps. We played some frisbee golf and had a nice 2-3 hour hike with mix of easy and intermediate trails. Highly recommended for a nice half day of hiking.
