Aurora History Museum, Aurora Reviews - Write a Review
This small museum is tucked between the police headquarters and city hall on the Aurora civic center campus. The most interesting exhibit is a meticulously restored trolley car which is housed in a new wing of the museum. There is also a general exhibit about the history of Aurora, a small rotating exhibit featuring residents' collections, a little museum store, and occasional art exhibits.
Straightforward museum of a town without a whole lot of history, but displays are well done, and it's free.
“Fletcher” What does the Name "Fletcher" have to do with Aurora? Come visit the museum and find out. There is no admission to this quant museum. Although quant, it is packed with local history to include exhibits of photos from the early years of Aurora to include "Patches" to an awesome display from Ethiopia. There is also a restored trolley trailer..
A nice place to learn about the City of Aurora and it's history.
