  • To call this store Quirky is an understatement. There’s truly something for everybody to question pulling out their wallets. The collection of goods ranges from: antique coffee cups, taxidermy creatures, a wall of pendulum clocks, prosthetic glass eyes, a massive jewelry case with pieces from across the world & time with some wonderful works made by artists of today, porcelain figurines of every variety, as well as skeletons of many common animals too, to name a few things you’ll find (; UNCOMMON OBJECTS is definitely worth a look around if you have the time (but be warned if you like to look at everything in detail, expect to spend about 2 hours)

  • Pretty cool place to go check out every so often to find unique items but be prepared to spend some $ for them. I just like going for the entertainment value but I do spend about $30 on small palm sized things when I go. The people are really nice too.

  • One of the best time killing places in Austin. If you're actually looking to buy a bunch of stuff, bring your checkbook. It's not a cheap place, but they really do have some interesting and bizarre stuff. They do flea markets, be on the lookout for that to catch deals. If you're in the area for a while, check out Far Out Furniture and End of an Ear. Casino bar is a good time as well.

  • One of my favorite antique stores in Austin! I especially love that they have areas somewhat color-coded, which provides a really cool aesthetic feel to the place.

  • I want to live in UO. It's an antique store specializing in the bizarre. How can it ever get better than that!?? (Plus, the shop dog loves snuggles). 10 stars, my favorite store in Austin (and I shop A LOT).
