This is a tourist site where once a battle was fought between the Kings of France and England in 1346. The tower here which must have been a witness to this great battle now stands alone amidst some nice views around. It is a good place to take your children to on a picnic as the basic amenities are readily available. Pay a visit to this place to understand the history behind the place as well as a nice baby’s day out with some nice spots to click a few pictures.

Went on the weekend of the anniversary of the battle. Lots to do with reenactment and exhibits to see. Only issue is parking needs to be made clearer as quite a few roads shut off.
Great site but currently awaiting restoration of the viewing tower and info boards. If you know about the battle you can understand otherwise at present you would have no idea. Hope they do the work soon. Nice place to picnic. 😎
Ensure you have some understanding of the battle before you go. Limited info there. Good observation post
All the information was missing so no historical background available also the tower overlooking the battlefield was limited to the first stage unless the town was named wouldn't know any significance of the place
Nice free event, shame about the rain
