Ayia Thekla Beach Reviews & Ratings

  • Too many small rocks and stones as you enter the sea and the water is a bit warm, almost like a swimming pool. The sand is very sticky and the beach gets crowded.

  • Uncrowded clear beach with cafe/bar, bathrooms and changing rooms, there is a tap to wash off sand from your feet and paid shower. Beach is wheelchair accessible, but not the water itself. Water is shallow with rocky bottom, so there is no real space to swim or play, but it's good for children.

  • Amazing beach, quiet, not too crowded, perfect for families or if you are looking for something not mainstream. It has a small "island" reachable (100m or so) by just walking through the (very) calm water.

  • Lovely little chapel on beach

  • At the moment there is building work going on but still a lovely place to sunbathe good sun beds a great restaurant close by for good food a drinks very reasonable prices you get a great latte coffee there.
