The Plaza General Jose De San Martin is a highly decorated family park that you can visit during your trip in Azul, Argentina. In the year 1832, the place used to be known as the seat of the "Fuerte del Azul". Later, the park got the name Plaza Colón. The park is diagonal in shape and used to have a wonderful fountain at the central point decorated with female statuettes. In the year 1986, the park has gone through modification. Now you can spot a podium in the centre of the park that is surrounded by a highly designed garden and balustrades. The statue of General San Martín can be spotted here which you can photograph to bring back memories.
