As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,254 and an area of 15.8 square kilometres (6.1 sq mi). Badalucco borders the following municipalities: Bajardo, Ceriana, Dolcedo, Molini di Triora, Montalto Ligure, and Taggia.
